Forest Bathing on Hiking Trips

Image
I really miss hiking! Hiking is a form of meditation for me, escaping the noise of society into a calm natural setting. With every step I take, I rejoice in the beauty of the universe's creations. Forest bathing, a term I wasn't aware of until I began my hike routines, is a process that heals the body. Then I ordered the Lemon Chill, a tall glass of lemonade; and Hummus, which is an authentically Arabic dish with thick chickpea paste. Being a chick on the peas, this Lebanese cuisine enthusiast was not all excited about the taste of the hummus served here. The blend was really bland and although thick, the tinge of the different ingredients refused to meet my taste bud. Well maybe I made the wrong turn of going into a Western-concept restaurant, hoping them to deliver what was supposed to be a marvelously wine and dine Lebanese cuisine. RM27.40 down the loo, sob sob.
